New Era
60 years ago, local citizens in our community formed the Windsor Little League. New fields were constructed, and teams were formed for the sole purpose of developing our children on and off the ball field. A Constitution and Rules of Play were formed by the founding members to help maintain and operate the league. A Board of Directors consisted of local representatives from the team sponsors. This group of individuals were responsible for electing the officers of the Executive Council on an annual basis. The Executive Council members were then responsible for overseeing the league, modifying/administering the Rules of Play, and for making important decisions throughout the year. The Windsor Little League was later changed to Cashie Youth Leagues.
Just recently, the Electoral Process was held in accordance with the Constitution. Our Nominating Committee considered many candidates for the officer positions and presented their suggestions to the Board of Directors at the Annual Electoral Meeting. The floor was then opened for nominations from the remaining Board of Directors to be added to the ballot. Once the votes were tallied, some new officers along with some existing officers were elected for the 2023 season. Each officer began their 1-year term immediately after the meeting. Going forward, this group of individuals have agreed to volunteer their time to administer the league and help in the development of youth in this community in accordance with Cashie Youth Leagues Mission Statement. As the league moves forward, we look forward to the many changes that will take place in making this a great organization! We appreciate the efforts from the leaders and volunteers that have served over the history of this league. As the league continues to grow, we are hopeful that many of you will also step up and volunteer your time for this community!

Leagues of Play
Davis Park in Windsor, NC is the home of Cashie Youth Leagues. Davis Park consists of (3) different baseball/softball fields set up for different ages. All fields have lights. The small field consists of a dirt infield with dimensions of 154' to center field and 149' down the lines. The middle field consists of a dirt infield and movable pitching mound with symmetrical dimensions of 200'. The big field consists of a dirt infield and permanent pitching mound with dimension of 300' to center field and 309' down the lines. All fields have concrete block dugouts. There is a concession stand between the fields along with restrooms. The area between the 3 fields is fenced off for pedestrian use only.
